The new logo of our Italian artisanal soaps
Alchimia Soap is known worldwide as an Italian company that excels in artisanal cosmetics and soaps. Its products stand out for the design of their packaging and elegant fragrances. Most of all, it is for the brand’s logo. Our products have always been known as “the soaps with the ladybug” Today, this symbol has changed, but it has never stopped representing Alchimia Soap and our core values.
From soap bubbles to the ladybug good luck charm: the evolution of our logo
Alchimia Soap’s recent logo restyling is the latest leg of a journey undertaken many years ago. Initially, the brand communicated with a lettering-centred brand, graphically enriched with stylised bubbles evoking the soap’s foam.
Over time, another visual element made its way into our designs: the ladybug. In Italy, this charming creature symbolises luck and vitality. Originally featured on a limited batch of products for a specific market, its popularity quickly grew, earning it a spot as a signature detail on our packaging worldwide ( discover how the ladybug became the good luck charm of our soaps).
Today, the ladybug is an integral part of Alchimia Soap’s new logo. Its stylised shape hints at the insect believed to bring good luck in Italy and merges with the letter A, the brand’s initial. It’s an effective pictogram, easy to decode and with an excellent visual impact, in line with the design imprint of our products, which will be more and more present on the packaging of our Italian-made soaps.
Where to find the soaps with the ladybug
The new image already appears on the following cosmetic products where Alchimia Soap’s small wooden ladybug couldn’t be applied:
- liquid soaps and 1-litre shower gels available in practical bottles;
- recently-introduced product lines, such as Shea butter soaps;
- scented body scrubs with exfoliant action and Olive Oil, Rose, Vanilla Almond fragrances;
- room scented candles from Alchimia Soap’s home division (citrus fruits, olive oil, magnolia, Vanilla), with the logo on an elegant opaque glass container.
The traditional lucky charm ladybug will continue to make our plant-based soaps from the Ladybug Classic Line unique and special. These products, wrapped in refined Tassotti paper, are formulated with ingredients of natural origin to offer a wide range of fragrances, such as honey, hellebore, cinnamon, grapes and blueberries, and jasmine.
